Wenting (Christine) Gong is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience. Currently working at Tinder, Inc. as a Software Engineer, she is responsible for monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing of Observability envoy service mesh and control plane. Prior to this, she served as a Member of Technical Staff at Tintri, where she was responsible for redesigning and reconstructing the homepage of Tintri's internal end-to-end automation testing system with AngularJS and Django, designing and implementing UI and API for the Performance Reporting app, and working with engineers from other teams to support new platforms, new API queries, disable certain out-of-date platforms, and support pseudo machines, when running E2E automation tests. Wenting has also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Tintri: Smart Storage that Sees, Learns and Adapts, where she designed and implemented a reporting web system for the company's internal automated testing system in JavaScript, Python with Django framework and Bootstrap from scratch. She has a Master's degree in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Telecommunications Engineering with Management from Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications and Queen Mary, U. of London. Her tech stack includes Django, UI, Web, test, MongoDB, Integration, and AngularJS. With her vast experience and expertise, Wenting is a valuable asset to any team she works with.
